Thanksgiving 2013

To focus on the "thanks" in Thanksgiving, we collected tree branches & made a centerpiece listing things we are thankful for.  Later we talked about the first Thanksgiving and made Indian headpieces.  All seemed to be going well until Braxton said, "If we are thankful to God on Thanksgiving - why do we wear these weird bunny ear hats?  

Hmmm...

Our magnetic Nativity now includes a giraffe, panda, and zebra.

Sisters Together

I was blessed to spend time with both of my sisters this week.  It was really good to be together!  Mom joined us too & then they drove back to Missouri together. Super fun!

 

 

Anniversary Memories

For our 10 year anniversary this year Brock & I took  a trip down memory lane - driving past the 3rd floor apartment where Dor & I lived in St. Paul, Brock's 1st floor apartment in Columbia Heights, and our first house together in Brooklyn Park. Then he gave me a  new anniversary ring to join my wedding ring set.  Such a great day!

10 Year Anniversary

We have been blessed with 10 awesome years together and we look forward to many future adventures!

Halloween 2013

Avery & Isla visited for our annual Halloween get together.  The crew included Isla=Snow White, Avery=Cinderella, Braxton=Batman & Braddax=Clark Kent (Superman).  Fun!
