Kindergarten Prep

This week Braxton and I went to Kindergarten Round-Up to prepare him to start school in September.  We also made the day special by going out for breakfast as a family.  Braxton is VERY excited to start school. He came home from round-up and told Brock, "Dad they even have Legos at school!"  Then he drew a picture and wrote "HB BRFDA" and told me "mom, I wrote happy birthday on it just for you!"

Irish Party

This week we had friends Cheryl & Emmett over for an Irish Party (dinner with beer & green cookies).  The boys had fun playing with Conor (age 2) and it was good to see them before their baby girl arrives (due in 2 weeks!).

Sunshine

We have blue sky and sunshine today - a welcome break from the snow.   

Sleepover

It was "Bring a Friend" night at Awana's this week.  Avery and Braxton went together and then had a sleepover (Brock pitched a tent for them in the basement).  They had fun playing legos and coloring.

Valentines Day 2014

This week Brock and the boys gave me with a very special chocolate rose for Valentine's Day. Braxton said, "mom, isn't it the most shiny flower ever!"  Yes, it is!  We also had fun making valentine's snake cards for Braxton's preschool class.      

Thanks Grandma!

The boys have been sick this week with fevers and we've been very thankful for grandma coming to help out.  We have caught a few smiles in the midst of the children's ibuprofen...and Braddax has successfully transitioned from baby bottle to sippy cup.
